From Italy to Mauritania (and Mali inshallah...),
in collaboration with Pam Young's "Village Ventures" developing new project (house for childern without family+SOLAR RADIO STATION) in Mauritanian Capital...Solar Cinema is always with us!!!
In this moment the Convoy is on the road, we drove trough Spain and Morocco (5 days=2379km), at the moment we are in Agadir. More info comig soon (with pictures)!!! Stay tuned!!! 42.

22 March 2013, Nouakchott, Sahara Desert, Mauritania.
Today we reach Nouakchott, 5700 km done! Now the work begin...
Crossing the "NO man's land"(between morocco and mauritania there are a few kilometers with mine and no-road and NO LAW) we found a strange situation...9 Congo people are stucked there since 4 months!!! The maroccans and mauritanians refuse them to entry so they are living in the middle of nowhere...we will be back there in 2/3 weeks with a  "NoMan's Land Cinema Night"!!! What we can do now is just tell their story...and try to understand better what happen to them before...
unluckely internet here still not good so we will attach more picture as soon as possible...

What We Are All About

Interzona 42 is an independent collective of young travelers that want to do good for those most in need!

It is in African countries (as everybody knows) where the populations still go through very hard conditions of life: no money for education; sexual transmitted diseases and epidemics; no running or clean water; severe climate change and no tools to fight against it; lack of electricity and information; poverty; pollution and corruption! Although they have the strength in their spirits that is unbreakable to all adversities!

We admire them!

We think our time and effort are more important and more appreciated in the poorest corners of the world! Instead of sharing our dreams with the European society where we were raised, 

(with whom we, inevitably, have so much in common) 

we believe that it is in the, so called, under development nations, where we can fullfil our goals and achieve Happiness!

We are not doctors, so the help we can give to these people is one of sharing and trading experience,

little by little,

everything counts and can slowly change the karma of the planet

against those who lost track of the natural laws and rather take than give!

In these expeditions we did by land we took a lot of material given to us by the NGO Bambini Nel Deserto

But

We also developed our own personal project which is:

 

- A Solar-Energy Powered Itinerant Cinema - 

to be brought to little isolated villages, 

with animated cartoons for children and documentaries for adults,

for people that don't take life for granted and comprehend how frail it can be,

we want to offer them a show they have never seen

and we did it!

All other projects are welcome and we are developing many more 

in order to feed their brains and stimulate their ideas

through culture, music, art, theater, dance and the moving image

we intend to unite the world in Peace, Love and Understanding!

On The Road

TRUCK TEAM 2010/2011

Attività svolte durante il viaggio da 7 ragazz e 2 mezzi (2 soci e 5 volontari di BnD) attraverso Marocco, Mauritania, Mali e Burkina Faso dal 1 Dicembre 2010 al 21 Aprile 2011.

Più di 14.000 km percorsi con il loro cinema itinerante, in supporto alle attività di BnD nell' Africa occidentale.

Dicembre 2010.A Kiffa, località isolata e priva di risorse sita in mezzo al Sahara, abbiamo trasformato una pausa obbligatoria in un una serata di cinema e danze sotto le stelle insieme ai ragazzi della comunità che abita questo difficile luogo. Durante il viaggio di rientro numerose sono state le richieste, da parte di scuole e di personalità pubbliche, di nuove proiezioni. Richieste di cui terremo conto nella pianificazione del prossimo progetto
